Women's Ministry

Women need women to think biblically, live covenantally and to pass the legacy on to the next generation.

Who are we and why do we do what we do?

The purpose* for our women's ministry or WIC (Women In the Church) as we call it in the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America) is:

that every woman in the church know Christ personally and be committed to extending His Kingdom in her life, home, church, community and throughout the world.

As women in Christ's church, we are committed to exemplifying our helper design and life-giving mission (Genesis 1-3).

We seek not to be task-driven or event-focused, but to have hearts resonating with God's word to such an extent that our lives overflow with thankfulness to God and  service to others.

Our WIC Leadership Team consists of a group of women who desire to encourage our church leaders and support our church's biblical, doctrinal standards and vision.  We meet the last Wednesday of the month for planning and prayer.

All women and girls are invited and welcome to attend.

THE PickWIC PAPERS

Charles Dickens' The Pickwick Papers is a sequence of  adventures written for publication as a serial.  The ladies of WIC have decided to borrow this clever title for our very own newsletter.

"When a woman possessing faith and spiritual maturity enters into a relationship with a younger woman in order to encourage and equip her to live for God's glory..."  (Susan Hunt)

"They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life."
